Pasta with Ham and Taleggio

Pasta with ham and taleggio it's an easy and very quick main course to prepare, ideal even when you have very little time and you arrive home at the last minute. This pasta is also ideal for children, especially my daughter which is really happy when I prepare it and last day, I came at home with an enormous piece of taleggio and she immediately imagined what I was going to use it for. For this recipe, you can use short pasta as I decided to do but also long pasta such as spaghetti, linguine or pappardelle but if you want to speed up this recipe even more I recommend you try it also with the gnocchi that cook in just 2 minutes (just look when they come to the surface) and they will be delicious. Are you ready to prepare ham and taleggio pasta with me? Let's start immediately to see all the ingredients we will need.

For 3/4 People

Ingredients

Let's Start

Put a pot of lightly salted water on the heat and bring it to a boil then cook the pasta and cook for the time indicated on the package. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.

Cut the cooked ham into strips.

Cut the taleggio cheese into pieces by removing the crust.

Put the butter in a large pan and let it melt then add the taleggio cheese and the milk and melt the cheese over very very low heat. Add the grated Parmesan and mix.

When the pasta is cooked, drain it directly into the pan with the cheese dressing and stir for a few minutes so that it is completely seasoned.

Put the pasta on the plates and finish with the strips of cooked ham and serve it hot.

Buon Appetito!

VARIANTS AND ADVICE

If you want, you can also add a little cooking water from the pasta to make it even more creamy.

You can add a pinch of nutmeg if you like.

You can leave out the grated Parmesan if you want a more delicate flavour.
